Code: 10141
An original, wartime-issue pair of British Army Dispatch Rider (DR) and Tank Driver goggles. This set features the highly sought-after orange-tinted lenses, designed to enhance contrast and reduce glare during daytime operations.
Features original orange tinting, showing typical age-related delamination and shrinking of the inner film. Perfect look for a combat display or static mannequin.
The dark leather face padding is in good, supple condition with no rotting or tearing. Retains its original blue-grey elastic adjustment strap. The elastic is remarkably well-preserved with excellent stretch.
Includes its original, unmarked wartime cardboard storage box. The box is structurally sound with no split corners.
Overall in very nice condition, does have some age related wear to the item especially around the metal frame on the goggles.
