Up for sale is a fantastic Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery estate that comes with an original photo and 4 original sleeve patches.The portrait features a clear studio stamp on the reverse: “Haus Herold, Westerland-Sylt”, perfectly placing this sailor at the heavily fortified North Sea coastal defense batteries on the island of Sylt.

Naval Artillery Career Patch: Golden-yellow embroidered artillery shell on a dark navy-blue wool backing. Features period-correct uneven factory-sheared edges and distinct white cotton bobbin threads visible on the reverse.
Kriegsmarine Anti-Aircraft (AA) Artillery Senior Specialist Trade Badge: A matching artillery shell patch on dark navy wool with white cotton bobbins visible on the rear.
Gefreiter Rank & Trade Patch: Golden-yellow embroidered artillery shell with a single rank chevron positioned underneath.
Obergefreiter Summer Rank Chevron: Two dark navy-blue chevrons stitched onto a white cotton backing, worn on the summer/work uniform.
All items are in excellent, genuine wartime condition with natural aging. The wool on the patches is clean with no moth damage. The backing layers are intact. The photograph is crisp with a highly legible reverse studio mark. Have conducted UV light testing on the patches and all come back original.
